The SIMPLE Archive

Abstract

We present the SIMPLE Archive of low mass stars, brown dwarfs and directly-imaged exoplanets. The SIMPLE Archive currently contains the astrometry, photometry and spectra for over 3600 sources. The goal of SIMPLE is to develop a community-driven archive where many individuals can collaboratively contribute to the knowledge base of these objects using a GitHub, hand-curated workflow. SIMPLE can be searched via a website, https://simple-bd-archive.org/, or be downloaded and interacted with as a database. We welcome more contributors to join us as we build and populate this community tool. The SIMPLE archive is actively being devloped on GitHub at https://github.com/SIMPLE-AstroDB. Breaking news: We are structuring SIMPLE to be fully complementary and compatible with MocaDB, which is considerably larger and more automated than SIMPLE.
