Literacy rate, population density, real GDP grouth 2020-2024 in Upscale countries

Abstract

Educational level, population density and GDP growth are among the most important indicators of Push-Pull-Technology suitablity. Here we have chosen Literacy rate as indicator for education level, we have collected the literacy rate in youth and adult, in female and male to represent the general education level and gender equality situation in each Upscale countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda). Literacy rate is extract from WorldBank (https://data.worldbank.org/topic/4), in which male data from Ethiopia is from 2017, female data from Ethiopia is from 2019, all others data are from 2022.. Population density is extracted from "The Gridded Population of the World, Version 4" (https://doi.org/10.7927/H49C6VHW). The GDP data is extracted from IMF Real GDP growth from year 2020 to 2024 (https://www.imf.org/external/datamapper/NGDP_RPCH@WEO/OEMDC/ADVEC/WEOWORLD).
