This abstract aim to provide an ethnogeographical reading of the landscape shaped by Chinese immigration in downtown Fortaleza, considering the traits and elements of the group's culture as spatialized in the place that receives them. It is emphasized that, among Asian immigration flows, Chinese migrants are among the earliest in Brazil; however, their migration to Fortaleza became consolidated only in the 21st century. We also note that most studies on migratory dynamics focus on economic, political, and environmental aspects. This study is justified by offering a different perspective on the topic, grounded in Cultural Geography, with the purpose of analyzing and reflecting on the transformations of the landscape produced by individuals or groups in a given place as a result of their migratory process.
