Female oviposition site selection influences hatching success and embryonic development in a Neotropical glass frog

Abstract

This repository contains all data and code necessary to reproduce the analyses presented in "Female oviposition site selection influences hatching success and embryonic development in a Neotropical glass frog" (Curaca-Fierro & Goyes Vallejos in review). Included are field datasets from 2024 and 2025, covering microclimate measurements, hatching success, embryonic development rates, and egg-clutch mortality for the Emerald glass frog (Espadarana prosoblepon). All data are provided in Excel datasets. The analysis script is a single Quarto (.qmd) file written in R that contains annotated, reproducible code for all statistical analyses and figures reported in the manuscript. File organization and variable descriptions are detailed in the accompanying README.
