Air quality CAMS data and products in Smart4COV19/Telemedicine project

Abstract

The presentation outlines how CAMS (Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service) and Sentinel‑5P air‑quality data are integrated into the Smart4COV19/Telemedicine project to study relationships between air pollution and COVID‑19 case dynamics in Bulgarian cities, with a focus on Sofia. It demonstrates seasonal pollutant behaviour, compares satellite and ground‑based measurements, and evaluates CAMS products for operational use.
