An NLP-Based International Curriculum Framework for Child Coaching: A Competency-Oriented Model for Emotional, Cognitive, Behavioral, and Educational Development

Abstract

This paper introduces an internationally accredited Child Coaching Curriculum Framework integrating Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), coaching psychology, communication sciences, emotional development strategies, and competency-based educational methodologies. The curriculum was conceptually and methodologically developed by Prof. Reza Omraie within the framework of the International Association of Coaching Institutes (ICI) and implemented through the Academy of NLP & Coaching Prof. Omraie. The program consists of 120 hours of professional training delivered over a minimum of 15 days and includes supervised mentoring, practical coaching sessions, behavioral assessments, and applied NLP interventions designed specifically for child development contexts. The curriculum addresses emotional balance, communication skills, learning enhancement, self-image improvement, concentration difficulties, limiting beliefs, behavioral flexibility, parental support systems, and fear/aggression management in children. The framework combines NLP-based techniques such as anchoring, submodality transformation, reframing, modeling, Swish patterns, belief change interventions, and state management with developmental psychology and coaching methodologies. The curriculum adopts a competency-based educational model emphasizing experiential learning, behavioral transformation, emotional intelligence, and child-centered communication. This paper presents the theoretical foundation, curriculum architecture, educational methodology, applied intervention systems, developmental objectives, and international relevance of the model. The proposed framework contributes to the emerging interdisciplinary field of child coaching and offers a structured educational system adaptable to coaching institutes, educational organizations, developmental programs, and family-support environments worldwide.
