Abstract

Finnish Social Science Data Archive - FIDELIS Transparent Trustworthy Repository Attributes Matrix is the first published version of the filled-in Transparent Trustworthy Repository Attributes Matrix (TTRAM) of the Finnish Social Science Data Archive (FSD). The matrix is a populated version of the FIDELIS TTRAMatrix v01.00 Template. The Transparent Trustworthy Repository Attributes Matrix (TTRAM) provides a structure and reference around the activities and functions delivered by repositories for the FIDELIS and EDEN projects, as well as the emerging FIDELIS Network. As a tool, the Matrix will support the FIDELIS project, the forthcoming Network and wider EOSC stakeholders in: Collecting information in a logical, reusable way Understanding the wide variety of types and practices across repositories Sharing structured information for consultation and use Designing and implementing a functional network of mutual support and aligned practice As an example of how to populate the Matrix, the following repositories, in addition to FSD, have published a version of their filled-in TTRAM: DANS DisProt Sikt UK Data Service STRING Database DOME Registry Note that all help text and information sheets have been removed in the published examples, in order to constrain the context to the activities and functions of the repositories. More information about the Matrix can be found in the Introduction and Overview and the Guide. Blank versions of the template are available on Zenodo. The Design Statement also details the drivers behind the TTRAM’s design, as well the source criteria to define the 30 Activities and Functions.
