COREnet and EU4Adice Joint Newsletter (June Edition)

Abstract

This is a joint newsletter from COREnet and EU4Advice, two European projects collaborating to strengthen advisory services for Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs) across Europe. Local Food Advisors Journey 2026 is a shared programme offering webinars, trainings, practice abstracts, and videos to support advisors working with SFSCs. A key feature is Advisors Monday, a monthly one-hour online webinar held every third Monday at 10:00 CET. Focusing on EU4Advice specifically: The project has its own Advisors' Corner, a hub with essential documents, advisinar videos, presentations, and project materials for practitioners. The consortium recently gathered in Ireland for a Living Lab cross visit at Cloughjordan Ecovillage, a community where sustainability is embedded in daily life. EU4Advice ran an International Women's Campaign featuring two interviews: one with Sabine van Giesbergen (titled Roots, Rhythms & Real Work) and another with Nita van Dam, founder of Nimble, a venture promoting nature-inclusive, organic vegetable farming with fair pay for farmers. Practice Abstracts are now available on the EU4Advice website — short, actionable summaries that advisors can directly apply in their day-to-day work. Both projects are funded by the European Union.
