Governance Failure Framework for Malignant Transition: The SPDS/Dual-Hit Model and the Absent Sentinel Hypothesis (Version 4.0)

Abstract

This framework proposes that malignant transition requires more than mutation. It requires the simultaneous collapse of intracellular governance (SPDS) and the coincident failure of extracellular surveillance (the Absent Sentinel). Building upon Douglas Green's discoveries of failed apoptosis and Phoenix Rising, this model reframes cancer initiation as a systems-level governance failure rather than a purely genetic event. The paper presents the Dual-Hit Principle, the Detection Ambiguity Zone (DAZ), the Absent Sentinel Hypothesis, and testable experimental predictions. Version 4.0 introduces an expanded definition of RSF, a conceptual architecture figure, and refined qualifying language. This version replaces a previously uploaded incomplete file with the full manuscript. All sections are now complete.
