A Refutation of the Omphalos Hypothesis and the Five-Minute Paradox from the Perspective of Computational Efficiency

Abstract

This paper refutes the 'Five-Minute Hypothesis' by introducing a socio-technical framework based on thermodynamics and 'Continuous Ignition Operational Cost.' We demonstrate that the periodic re-rendering of the entire universe, complete with simulated historical traces, would violate the energy-conservation design of the cosmos. Thus, time is proven to be a structurally authentic, irreversible physical reality.
