Chain-of-Thought Prompting Enhances Mistral-7B Reasoning on MathOdyssey Geometry

Abstract

This report synthesises findings from 3 peer-reviewed papers addressing the following research question: What is the impact of chain-of-thought prompting on the reasoning accuracy of Mistral-7B-Instruct-v0.2 when evaluated on the high school geometry subset of the MathOdyssey benchmark. 8 claims were extracted from source literature; 8 were independently verified against retrieved documents. An automated multi-reviewer quality assessment produced a score of 9.3/10. This report is a machine-generated literature synthesis and does not constitute original research.Research goal: What is the impact of chain-of-thought prompting on the reasoning accuracy of Mistral-7B-Instruct-v0.2 when evaluated on the high school geometry subset of the MathOdyssey benchmark?Autonomous literature synthesis. Automated review score: 9.3/10. Full text and citation available at Assignee Research.
