Abstract

Abstract. This article analyzes the role and importance of mathematics in the development of students' logical thinking. Mathematics is not only a science of calculations, but also an important tool for forming the ability to organize thinking, analyze problems and draw correct conclusions. The article highlights methods that serve to develop logical thinking in mathematics lessons, including problem-based learning, interactive approaches and methods of using practical problems. It also highlights the role of mathematical tasks and logical problems in developing students' independent thinking. Through mathematics, students develop the skills of analysis, comparison, generalization and decision-making. This article reveals the educational and developmental significance of mathematics in the educational process and serves to increase the intellectual potential of students.
