Wolfgang Wägele leg.; epibenthic sledge; ZMH - K- 067166. Remarks. Mühlenhardt-Siegel (2005 d) did not explicitly designate a particular lot as a paratype in the publication; she only includes the sentence “ description of appendages based on paratype, female ”. This specimen, together with specimens from the same and four additional stations, is listed as “ material ” in the publication, and a single collection number was assigned to all of them (ZMH - K- 040653). The entire lot, including the animals from five stations, is marked as a paratype in the catalogue book, on index cards, and on the original labels within the jars. Based on this, we include the paratype designation to all material; the original number given by Mühlenhardt-Siegel (2005 d) is retained for the first lot listed in the paratype section, and new collection numbers were assigned to the other four lots (see above). Additional possible paratypes were deposited at the SMF (SMF 30287). Diagnosis. Carapace in female with notch in front of posterior margin, and 8 long teeth getting shorter in posterior part, long siphonal tube; ocular lobe long and styliform, reaching the end of pseudorostrum, with terminal tooth; anterolateral corner with distinct tooth. Pleon dorsally serrate (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 2005 d). Distribution. Southeast Atlantic, Cape, Angola, and Guinea Basins, 5125–5415 m depth.
