In the description paragraphs, it states: “ description of appendages based on paratype, subadult male ”. This specimen, together with another male from the same station, represents all the material listed in the publication; therefore, both specimens are assigned as a Paratypes.Diagnosis.Carapace, dorsomedian line with 8 teeth up to the posterior margin, no tuberances on either side of the frontal area; ocular lobe with a pair of tiny teeth at anterior tip; without eye lenses. Pereopod 1, basis with only 2 teeth at lower distal margin. Pereopod 2, basis upper margin serrate, lower margin with 1 tooth at distal part. Uropod, peduncle 1.2 times as long as endopod, inner and outer margins with up to 4 setae; exopod shorter than endopod; endopod uni-articulated, with 6 strong setae on inner margin, 1 longer strong terminal and 2 short sub-terminal setae (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 2005 d).Distribution.Southeast Atlantic, Angola Basin, 5387–5390 m depth.
