M 5 / 2-85 KG; 22°25.2'N, 36°45.9'E to 22°34.8'N, 35°46.2'E [22.42, 36.765; 22.58, 35.77]; 772–779 m depth; 07 February 1987; Hjalmar Thiel leg.; box corer; ZMH -K-038056.Paratype.* • ♂; same data as holotype; damaged specimen; ZMH -K-038057.Remarks.Mühlenhardt-Siegel (1996 a) declared one subadult female paratype deposited at the ZMA (ZMA Cu.202.081).Diagnosis.Carapace slightly depress, frontal ridges 2 / 3 sloping, ridges 3 to 4 longitudinal from the anterolateral third to the back of the carapace; dorsal ridge bending downwards in the frontal part confining the other 2 or 3 ridges to the front; antennal notch poorly marked (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 1996 a).Distribution.Red Sea, 772–779 m depth.
