Iphinoe marisrubrae Mühlenhardt-Siegel, 1996Fig. 7Holotype.Red Sea • ♀; Gulf of Aden, M 5/2 MINDIK exped., FS Meteor stat. M 5/2-268-Kn; 13°11.2'N, 47°10.9'E to 13°10.7'N, 47°09.2'E [13.18666, 47.18166; 13.17833, 47.15333]; 1654–1686 m depth; 13 February 1987; Ute Mühlenhardt-Siegel, leg.; body preserved in 70 % EtOH, legs mounted on a permanent slide; ZMH -K-038059.Remarks.Mühlenhardt-Siegel (1996 a) designated one juvenile as paratype (same data as the holotype); however, the publication does not provide a collection number. This specimen was not found in the ZMH - K collections; thus, the paratype is considered lost.Diagnosis.Pseudorostrum short; dorsomedian line with double row of spines. Maxilliped 3, merus not expanded and base distal prolonged but not widened (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 1996 a).Distribution.Red Sea 1654–1686 m depth.
