Abstract

With this annotation, we attempted to answer the question whether specific semantic categories influenced the use of certain formations of the satellite of (military) accompaniment. 500 randomized hits were annotated (μετά + gen./dat., σύν + gen./dat., ἅμα + dat.). Annotations on the verb: - MOVEMENT movement (mov) non-movement (non_mov) - COMBATANT non-combative (non_com) close combat (close_com) distant combat (dist_com) combat non-specific (com_non_spec) Annotations on the satellite of accompaniment: MILITARY non-military (non_mil) military ground troops with animal (mil_ground_withanimal) military ground troops without animal (mil_ground_noanimal) military sea troops (mil_sea) military enemy (mil_enemy) military non-specific (mil_non_spec) military other (mil_other)
