O USO DAS METODOLOGIAS ATIVAS NO ENSINO DA MATEMÁTICA NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA

Abstract

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar as contribuições das metodologias ativas no ensino da matemática na educação básica, considerando os desafios historicamente associados à aprendizagem dessa disciplina, como a baixa participação dos estudantes, dificuldades de compreensão e desmotivação em relação aos conteúdos trabalhados. A pesquisa justifica-se pela necessidade de repensar práticas pedagógicas tradicionais, buscando estratégias que promovam maior engajamento e aprendizagem significativa. Para isso, adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, de caráter exploratório, por meio de uma revisão de literatura composta por 15 artigos científicos publicados entre 2017 e 2025 e uma obra clássica de referência, selecionados em bases como Google Acadêmico e SciELO, com análise temática dos dados. Os resultados evidenciam que as metodologias ativas, como a aprendizagem baseada em problemas, a sala de aula invertida, a gamificação e o ensino híbrido, contribuem significativamente para a melhoria do ensino da matemática, ao promover maior protagonismo dos estudantes, desenvolvimento do raciocínio lógico, autonomia e participação ativa no processo de aprendizagem. Além disso, identificou-se que o uso de tecnologias digitais potencializa essas práticas, tornando o ensino mais dinâmico e contextualizado. Entretanto, também foram observados desafios relacionados à formação docente, à infraestrutura escolar e à necessidade de planejamento adequado para a efetiva implementação dessas abordagens. Conclui-se que as metodologias ativas representam uma alternativa promissora para transformar o ensino da matemática, contribuindo para uma aprendizagem mais significativa e eficaz, ao mesmo tempo em que reforçam a importância de investimentos em formação docente e políticas educacionais que favoreçam sua aplicação.
