XTREAM Project Brochure – Sustainable exploration and biodiscovery of novel products and processes from extreme aquatic microbiomes

Abstract

Project brochure of the XTREAM project (GA 101182278), a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action under topic HORIZON-CL6-2024-CircBio-01-10. XTREAM is a 48-month project that aims to unlock the potential of aquatic extremophiles for the discovery of enzymes, drugs, metabolites and chemicals through innovative tools for efficient and sustainable exploration of extreme microbiomes. This triptych-format brochure was produced as part of the project's initial communication pack (Work Package 5, Task 5.1) and provides a visual overview of the project's objectives, workflow, consortium, and expected impacts. Designed for a general audience including researchers, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and citizens. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the Research Executive Agency (REA). Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
