Abstract

An R package that estimates the annual economic benefit of dung beetles to cattle operations by quantifying the pasture fouling they prevent, and rescales decay rates to any location's climate using WorldClim warmest-quarter bioclim variables. Implements the valuation framework of Stanbrook-Buyer, Bhat & King (2024, Basic and Applied Ecology).
