Abstract

This article examines the role and significance of medieval source studies in the history of Uzbekistan, particularly their reflection in local historical works such as “Tarikh-i Bukhara” and “Shajara-i Turk.” It analyzes the information provided in these works, important events related to the life of states described in them, and the views of foreign historians on this subject.
