APICOECTOMY IN MODERN DENTISTRY: ADVANTAGES OF THE MICROSURGICAL APPROACH AND RETROGRADE FILLING

Abstract

The article reviews modern standards and innovative methods for performing apicoectomy in outpatient oral surgery. The primary focus is on the use of an operating microscope, which minimizes tissue trauma and increases the accuracy of removing the focus of inflammation. The technique of retrograde filling using biocompatible materials (MTA, Biodentine) is described in detail, along with the application of osteoplastic materials to accelerate bone tissue regeneration in the postoperative period.
