THE INFLUENCE OF FEEDING AREA ON YIELD FORMATION AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF COWPEA (VIGNA CATJANG) CULTIVATION UNDER IRRIGATED CONDITIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

Under the current conditions of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Uzbekistan, one of the most critical tasks is to increase the production of plant protein while simultaneously improving the efficiency of land and water resource utilization. In light of climate change, the growing scarcity of irrigation water, and the necessity of ensuring national food security, particular attention is being paid to expanding the cultivation of drought-tolerant legume crops.
