Klimawandelanpassung durch Trinkwassersubstitution für Rückkühlwerke

Abstract

Final report on a funded project addressing climate change adaptation through the substitution of drinking water in evaporative cooling systems. The study examines the potential uses of rainwater in evaporative cooling systems, focusing on biofilm formation, microbiological safety, and the need for biocides. The results suggest that, under the conditions studied, partially substituting drinking water with rainwater may not pose a microbiological risk.
