
The increasing demand for cement in the construction industry has led to environmental concerns such as high carbon emissions and depletion of natural resources. This study investigates the use of Sugarcane Bagasse Ash (SCBA) and Fly Ash as sustainable partial replacement materials for cement in M30 grade concrete. Concrete mixes were prepared with 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% replacement levels of SCBA and Fly Ash. The mechanical properties of concrete were evaluated through compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength tests at different curing periods.The results showed that SCBA concrete achieved optimum compressive and split tensile strength at 10% replacement, while Fly Ash concrete showed optimum performance at 15% replacement. Flexural strength increased with increasing replacement levels for both materials, with Fly Ash concrete exhibiting slightly better performance than SCBA concrete. The study concludes that SCBA and Fly Ash can be effectively used as eco-friendly supplementary cementitious materials, reducing cement consumption and promoting sustainable construction practices.
