
The reproductive system is a complex network of organs and tissues responsible for the production of gametes, secretion of sex hormones, fertilization, and reproduction. Histological examination of reproductive organs provides a detailed understanding of their microscopic architecture, physiological functions, and pathological alterations. The male and female reproductive systems exhibit distinct structural characteristics that are closely associated with their reproductive roles. This review aims to comprehensively analyze the histological organization of male and female reproductive organs, including the testes, epididymis, vas deferens, accessory glands, penis, ovaries, uterine tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina, and external genitalia. Special attention is paid to the cellular composition, tissue organization, hormonal regulation, and clinical relevance of histological changes in reproductive tissues. Understanding the microscopic structure of reproductive organs contributes significantly to advances in reproductive biology, infertility diagnosis, gynecology, and andrology.
