Evolución del estereotipo femenino en el diseño publicitario

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la evolución del estereotipo femenino en el diseño publicitario a partir de los cambios socioculturales asociados al empoderamiento de la mujer y su impacto en la representación visual de la feminidad. Mediante una investigación cualitativa, se examinan campañas publicitarias de marcas que han influido significativamente en la construcción de los cánones de belleza contemporáneos, particularmente Barbie y Victoria’s Secret. El estudio identifica la transición desde modelos tradicionales basados en ideales de belleza inalcanzables hacia propuestas más inclusivas y cercanas a la diversidad corporal y social de las mujeres. Los resultados muestran cómo las demandas de una sociedad más crítica e informada han impulsado la transformación de los discursos publicitarios, evidenciando la necesidad de que el diseño publicitario responda a nuevas formas de representación femenina acordes con los valores actuales de inclusión, diversidad y aceptación.
