
A theoretical model is proposed, postulating the existence of a single fundamental physical entity — the Unified Fabric of spacetime. All known fields (gravitational, electromagnetic, strong, weak, Higgs) are interpreted as different oscillation modes or topological projections of this Fabric. Matter is defined not as an independent substance, but as a stable localized topological tension (knot) of the Fabric. Energy is defined as a quantitative measure of the deviation of the local Fabric tension from its equilibrium state. Mass is a measure of the "tightness" of the knot, charge is a characteristic of the asymmetry of its internal structure, and information is a set of stable differences in the Fabric tension generated by events. The model postulates a finite lifetime for all material particles, including the proton. The decay or annihilation of a particle is described as the "untying" of a topological knot, in which the tension energy returns to the Fabric in the form of free oscillations (radiation). Each such act leaves an indelible trace in the Fabric, causing its irreversible expansion, which provides a direct explanation for dark energy and the arrow of time. A cosmological consequence is a cyclic model of the Universe without singularities: each eon ends in a state of "near-zero" (false vacuum), and a new eon is initiated by a spontaneous phase transition of this state within the already existing, stretched Fabric of the previous eon. The model predicts the existence of observable traces of previous eons in the form of specific anomalies in the cosmic microwave background and provides concrete experimental predictions testable on existing facilities.
