XindiLIN/Semiparametric-Spatial-Point-Processes: Code and Data for "Semiparametric Spatial Point Processes"

Abstract

This release provides the complete replication code for the paper: Semiparametric Spatial Point Processes [[arXiv:2410.04359]](https://arxiv.org/pdf/2410.04359) Contents Simulation Studies Poisson process simulation (Table 2) Log-Gaussian Cox process simulation (Table 3) Model misspecification comparison (Table 4) Forest Ecology Application Inference for Beilschmiedia and Capparis tree species in the BCI forest plot (Table 5) Intensity estimate maps (Figure 1) Estimated nuisance function plots (Figure 2) PFAS Contamination Application Semiparametric and parametric intensity estimation for PFAS measurements across the United States National quantile intensity maps State-level zoom maps (Alabama, California) Inference results for target covariates Notes All scripts are written in R and assume the working directory is the repository root See README.md for full reproduction instructions and package dependencies Simulation studies are computationally intensive (3–10 hours each); pre-generated covariate fields are included in data/simulated_Gaussian_field/ The tag v1.0.0 signals this is the first stable release corresponding to the arXiv submission. If the paper gets revised or accepted and the code is updated, you would increment to v1.1.0 (minor update) or v2.0.0 (major revision).
