Abstract

O uso do pó de pedra como substituto da areia em argamassas tem se mostrado tecnicamente promissor, sobretudo pelo potencial de melhoria do empacotamento das partículas e do desempenho mecânico. Neste trabalho, avaliou-se a substituição parcial da areia natural por pó de pedra nas propriedades no estado fresco e endurecido de argamassas autonivelantes. Foram realizados ensaios de espalhamento, tempo de fluxo, densidade de massa fresca, absorção por capilaridade e resistências à tração na flexão e à compressão, conforme normas brasileiras vigentes. As misturas foram produzidas substituindo a areia (AN) por pó de pedra (PP), com substituições de 10%, 20% e 30%. No estado endurecido, os ensaios foram realizados aos 28 dias. Os resultados indicam tempos de fluxo dentro dos limites normativos, e aumento da resistência à compressão, atingindo 30,6 MPa no teor de 30%. Conclui-se que o uso do pó de pedra como substituto parcial da areia natural é tecnicamente viável e apresenta potencial sustentável para argamassas autonivelantes.
