Correlação entre dureza superficial e resistência à compressão em compósitos cimentícios reforçados com fibras de PVA com adições pozolânicas

Abstract

A incorporação de adições pozolânicas é uma estratégia relevante para a produção de compósitos cimentícios mais sustentáveis. Este estudo investiga a relação entre a dureza superficial, obtida por esclerometria, e a resistência à compressão de compósitos cimentícios reforçados com fibras de PVA, contendo metacaulinita (MK) e cinza volante (CV) como adições minerais. Foram preparadas seis misturas com substituições complementares de MK e CV (MC50, MC40CV10, MC30CV20, MC20CV30, MC10CV40 e CV50), mantendo-se constante a fração de cimento em 50% do material cimentício. Adicionalmente, duas misturas contendo apenas CV (CV1 e CV2) foram produzidas com diferentes relações água/material cimentício (0,31 e 0,27), com CV correspondente a 55% do material cimentício. Após 28 dias, as misturas foram avaliadas por esclerometria e ensaio de resistência à compressão. Os resultados mostram que maiores teores de metacaulinita elevam o índice esclerométrico, refletindo aumento da dureza superficial, enquanto a redução da relação água/material cimentício também contribui para esse ganho. Observou-se forte correlação entre o índice esclerométrico e a resistência à compressão, confirmando o potencial da esclerometria como técnica não destrutiva para estimar o desempenho mecânico de compósitos cimentícios reforçados com fibras e produzidos com adições pozolânicas.
