Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/globalwebdb, has fingerprint hash://md5/a64578fe647a789f7ff4e392b2dcbd53, is 30.8MiB in size and contains 32,120 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 4,698 primary taxa (e.g., unknown protozoan) and 3,768 associated taxa (e.g., Unidentified detritus). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
