Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/byrnes, has fingerprint hash://md5/602f2fad63d9dd8ff864668f331f26a6, is 450KiB in size and contains 2,090 interactions with 2 unique types of associations (e.g., eats) between 86 primary taxa (e.g., Paralichthys californicus) and 216 associated taxa (e.g., Cancer spp.). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
