Abstract. The article describes the use of physiotherapy in patients after intra-articular fractures of the knee joint, as well as its impact on the restoration of motor functions, mobility and physical performance of patients. Purpose of the study: to consider the use of physiotherapy in patients after knee joint injuries during the immobilization period, aimed at restoring joint function, improving the amplitude of movements and preventing the development of contractures. Materials and methods. Theoretical analysis and systematization of scientific and methodological literature and electronic resources (PubMed, PMC, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect) on the complex rehabilitation of patients after intra-articular fractures of the knee joint. Results. A systematic study of modern scientific and methodological sources allowed us to summarize the main approaches to the rehabilitation of patients after intra-articular fractures of the knee joint using physiotherapy. It has been established that the systematic use of kinesiotherapy techniques contributes to the restoration of the amplitude of movements, improvement of joint function, reduction of pain syndrome and prevention of the development of contractures. Conclusions. The use of systematized methods allows individualizing rehabilitation measures, increasing their effectiveness and contributing to the restoration of motor function and prevention of contractures. The use of kinesiotherapy provides an improvement in the amplitude of movements, reduction of pain syndrome and accelerates the restoration of physical performance of patients. The results obtained confirm the feasibility of including kinesiotherapy techniques in standardized rehabilitation protocols after intra-articular fractures of the knee joint.
