GameComp Educators Toolkit: Implementation Guide for Youth Workers

Abstract

The GameComp Educator’s Toolkit is a practical implementation guide produced within Work Package 5 of the Erasmus+ cooperation partnership GameComp (Project No. 2023-2-DE04-KA220-YOU-000181333). It is designed for youth workers, educators and trainers delivering non-formal education and aims to strengthen young people’s sustainability competences in line with the European GreenComp framework. The Toolkit explains how to use the GameComp resources as a coherent educator pathway: the online Assessment Tool, the 60 Workshop Scenarios, and the 60 Educational Games. It provides step-by-step facilitation guidance, minimum standards for safe and inclusive delivery, recommended session flows and ready-to-run recipes, debrief and transfer support, as well as lightweight monitoring tools. The appendices include a facilitator checklist, a session planning canvas, an offline self-assessment worksheet, and partner implementation cards and practical inserts to support reuse across contexts.
