Cross- Linguistic Phonetic Anchors as a Minimal Graph-Based Framework for Rapid Semantic Acquisition

Abstract

Cross-Linguistic Phonetic Anchors (CLPA) proposes a minimal graph-based framework for rapid semantic acquisition across languages. The framework models stable phonetic units as anchors that can be bound to semantic concepts and reused before mastery of grammar or script. The manuscript introduces a multilayer graph representation, reconstruction metrics, and an empirical evaluation design for phonetic-first versus script-first learning approaches.
