This study discusses feminism and women’s struggle in the novel Entrok by Okky Madasari. The study aims to describe gender discrimination, patriarchal culture, and women’s resistance in achieving independence and equality. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a feminist literary criticism approach. The findings show that female characters experience discrimination, subordination, marginalization, and socio-political oppression during the New Order era. However, women are also portrayed as courageous and independent individuals who challenge injustice. Through the characters of Marni and Rahayu, the novel presents women as active subjects who fight for dignity, freedom, and equality. Therefore, Entrok serves not only as a literary work but also as a social critique of patriarchal culture and unequal power relations.
