WMT-SLT FocusNews: Training data for the WMT shared task on sign language translation

Abstract

This is data from a former Deaf online TV channel, FocusFive. We provide news episodes (FocusNews) that were broadcast between 2008 and 2014. Each episode is about 5 minutes long. For a more extended description of the data, visit https://www.wmt-slt.com/data.

We additionally acknowledge funding through the Innosuisse Flagship "Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies" (IICT) (grant agreement no. PFFS-21-47).
