Abstract

This article analyzes the historical stages of reforms implemented in the electric power sector of New Uzbekistan and their role in the country's socio-economic development. The study examines the modernization of the energy system, expansion of power generation capacities, development of renewable energy sources, attraction of foreign investments, and improvement of the regulatory framework. Particular attention is paid to the historical significance of these reforms and the future prospects of the electric power industry.
