This dataset contains field-based measurements from multiple vegetable crops grown under field conditions with defined row and plant spacing. Crops were monitored throughout the growing season (April–October), with repeated sampling to capture plant growth and developmental dynamics over time. The dataset includes planting parameters such as planting date, row spacing, plant spacing and plant density. Plant-level measurements comprise of plant height, diameter (length and width), number of leaves, fresh plant weight, and leaf area. In addition, developmental stage was recorded using the BBCH scale. An additional variable captures crop–worker interaction through a measure of crop contact during field operations. Together, the dataset supports analyses of crop growth dynamics, phenological development and plant architecture under field conditions, and can be used for agronomic and exposure-related modelling.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
