Dataset and Figures for Public-Data-Driven Parametric Abstraction of Suzhou Garden Openwork Windows for Interior Design Components

Abstract

This dataset supports the manuscript “Public-Data-Driven Parametric Abstraction of Suzhou Garden Openwork Windows for Interior Design Components”. The dataset contains final manuscript figure exports and supporting processing data for a public-data-driven workflow that translates Suzhou garden openwork window motifs into parametric abstraction models and interior design components. It includes public source metadata, sample screening records, five-layer coding records, S02 clean-vector files and metrics, P01–P12 parametric variant records, component-translation tables, validation tables, selected processing figures, and Python scripts stored as .py.txt files for upload compatibility. The original Wikimedia Commons source images are not redistributed as raw images. Source file-page URLs, licenses, access dates, resolutions, and source locations are recorded in the metadata tables. The S02 source photograph is credited to Caitriana Nicholson from Beijing, China, and is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0. Author-created derivative visual outputs based on S02, including clean-vector overlays, parametric variants, component drawings, and scheme-comparison drawings, are released under CC BY-SA 2.0 in accordance with the source-image license. The package also includes README, citation information, license notes, file inventory, SHA256 checksums, and software-environment notes for reproducibility.
