Abstract

THREADZERO: A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GAS-FREE OFF-CHAIN ASSET TRANSFER, CRYPTOGRAPHIC SOLVENCY VERIFICATION, AND PHYSICALLY-PEGGED DIGITAL ASSET ISSUANCE USING MERKLE SUM SPARSE MERKLE TREES AND TAPROOT-ANCHORED STATE COMMITMENTS The present invention relates to methods and systems for transferring, verifying, and issuing digital assets that represent physical commodities, using offchain Merkle Sum Sparse Merkle Tree state mutation anchored to a Bitcoincompatible blockchain via single-satoshi Taproot commitment transactions. The present invention operates within the protocol infrastructure established in U.S. Patent Application No. 19/693,343 and extends that infrastructure with novel assetlayer methods addressing gas-free transfer, cryptographic solvency proof, physicalpeg management, and cryptographically secured disaster recovery
