CGT × COGITATE Experiment 1 (Paper 42)

Abstract

Pre-registered cross-modality test of CGT's five neural predictions against the COGITATE consortium's open Experiment 1 (full MEG: 100 subjects, 126,061 trials; full iEEG: 38 patients, 23,233 trials). Resting-state theta (7.431 Hz) does not transfer to task-evoked theta, which sits at ~6.45–6.5 Hz across both modalities (MEG 6.515 Hz, iEEG 6.441 Hz; |MEG−iEEG|=0.074 Hz over 132 subjects, five centres). A separately pre-registered CGT-derived value θ_task=(Y−1)/ln(R)=6.369 Hz (filed before MEG analysis) met all three prospective criteria, while remaining at IMPLIED tier pending an axiomatic mechanism. Overall classification INCONCLUSIVE; four measurement-instrument corrections documented.
