CGT - Tensor-to-Scalar Ratio Tension: Honest Assessment of r = αY = 0.051

Authors: Foxx, Phileas;

CGT - Tensor-to-Scalar Ratio Tension: Honest Assessment of r = αY = 0.051

Abstract

Transparent assessment of the tension between CGT's prediction of the tensor-to-scalar ratio r = αY = 7/137.036 = 0.051 and current observational upper limits of r < 0.032-0.036 (BICEP/Keck + Planck). Documents: when the prediction was made (January 2026, when r < 0.06), how the data has since tightened, the author's pre-registered falsification threshold (r < 0.01, not yet violated), and the timeline for definitive resolution (CMB-S4 ~2028, LiteBIRD ~2032). This note exists because scientific integrity requires leading with weaknesses, not hiding them. The remaining 148 predictions are unaffected by this tension.
