Optimal Rehabilitation Models

Abstract

This manual is intended for specialists working with individuals exposed to violence—especiallywomen, children, and other vulnerable groups—and presents an approach to socio-psychologicalrehabilitation from the perspective of cultural values. The main idea is that although violence is a universal phenomenon, its mechanisms, forms ofconcealment, social consequences, and recovery pathways are closely tied to each society’s valuesystem, family model, and social structure. In this regard, the historical, cultural, and ethicalheritage of Turkic peoples holds special scientific significance for understanding violence anddesigning rehabilitation.
