Mini Review: One pot synthesis of benzimidazoles derivatives.

Abstract

Abstract: Benzimidazole could be a heterocyclic aromatic chemical composite. It’s a crucial pharmacophore and privileged structure in medicative chemistry. It plays a dreadfully vital role with lots of helpful beneficial activities such as antifungals, antiulcers, medication, antihypertensives, anticancers, and antihistaminics, analgesic, antivirals etc. This is because it work for a very important purpose. The literature review reveals that benzimidazoles derivatives are effective chemicals and a wide range of reviews that are presently available on the market for organic chemistry and medical individual studies have confirmed that the molecules of these compounds are helpful against a variety of different microorganisms. Benzimidazole derivative play important role in the chemical industry, medicinal field. It contains fused heterocyclic core ring structure that exhibits various biological activities. Due to its huge importance this review aims at compiling the various substituted benzimidazoles and some other methods focusing on both conventional as well as nonconventional methods. The rise of microwave-assisted synthesis, green chemistry methodologies, and solid phase strategies for chemical manufacturing are explored. Benzimidazole is a heterocyclic compound that contains two nitrogen atoms and is formed by fusing a benzene ring with an imidazole. Benzimidazole and its derivatives are prepared in a range of ways, including condensation of o-phenylenediamine with carbonyl compounds.
