Webinar – Introduction to Citizen Science: Bringing Research and Society Together

Abstract

Broadly defined, citizen science refers to the active involvement of non-academic participants in research projects. These approaches open up new possibilities for scientific discovery while strengthening the relationship between science and society. The webinar will cover the key principles and practices of citizen science, present examples of projects developed within the 4EU+ Alliance, and provide recommendations on resources and tools available to support citizen science initiatives.
