ERA5 weather for the Trinity nuclear test (16 July 1945)

Abstract

ERA5 reanalysis data for the Trinity test, Alamogordo / White Sands, New Mexico (16 July 1945). 24 NetCDF files covering 16-18 July 1945. Subsetted ERA5 model-level reanalysis data (air temperature, x/y wind components (T, U, V) and surface air pressure on ECMWF hybrid model levels) for the Nevada Test Site / White Sands region. Lat 30.0-42.9 deg N, lon 100-120 deg W (240-260 deg E), 137 hybrid model levels, hourly timesteps. Preprocessed (merged 'snap' NetCDF files) for use with NuclearDetonation.jl.
