Percepción de la ciudadanía sobre las candidaturas independientes en el proceso electoral 2015.

Abstract

Este capítulo describe la percepción de los ciudadanos con respecto a las candidaturas independientes, muestra un breve análisis de la Ley General de Instituciones y Procedimientos Electorales (lgiPe) y contrasta el marco legal con el proceso electoral llevado a cabo en 2015; se analizan las seis candidaturas independientes en materia de abstención, paridad de género, participación electoral y datos relacionados con el perfil de los candidatos, como su formación académica, experiencia profesional y militancia política. Finalmente, se presentan algunos argumentos que permiten evaluar los pros y contras de la inclusión del libro séptimo de dicha ley a la luz de la participación ciudadana emitida para los seis casos de los candidatos independientes que ganaron la elección.
