Engineering Code of the Nation: Opportunities for Rethinking

Reengineering of Consciousness as a Resource for Engineering Development
Authors: Lvova, Elena;

Engineering Code of the Nation: Opportunities for Rethinking

Abstract

This article examines the situation with engineering personnel through the lens of the Ekvilibro laws of the mechanics of consciousness. It is shown that the issues of reproducing the engineering corps are connected not only with economic and educational factors, but also with mechanisms of perception, stereotypes, and inertial processes in people's consciousness. An approach is proposed that is based not on "restoring" old models, but on the conscious restructuring of engineering thinking using the "Ekvilibro Game" method as a tool for developing the skill of working with contradictions. The situation with engineering personnel is a complex challenge that has no simple solutions. Alongside economic and institutional measures, it may be useful to pay attention to the cognitive and mental aspects of reproducing the engineering corps. The Ekvilibro laws of the mechanics of consciousness offer a language and a tool for working with these aspects. This is not about "restoring" the old engineering code—it was adequate for its time. This is about consciously rethinking approaches to the training and activities of engineers, taking into account the changed world. The Ekvilibro Game is not a panacea, but an effective complementary tool. It is accessible, does not require large resources, and can be easily integrated into existing educational and corporate processes. We invite dialogue and collaborative search for solutions.
